Description
Rita Benjamen is a senior associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group at Dentons.

She represents a diverse range of clients in a variety of commercial and civil litigation matters, including commercial leasing disputes, corporate and shareholder disputes involving allegations of oppression, asset and debt recovery, defamation, product liability and contractual disputes. Rita also practices real estate litigation and has experience litigating matters concerning cautions and liens, certificates of pending litigation, land development litigation and disputes over agreements of purchase and sale of land. Rita is driven by a results-oriented and practical approach to resolving legal disputes and provides strategic advice for cost-effective dispute resolution.

Rita regularly appears before all Ontario courts, including the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, the Small Claims Court and various administrative tribunals.

In addition, she represents clients through various forms of alternative dispute resolution, including mediations and arbitrations.
