Heelan Kwon is an immigration senior associate in our Employment and Labour group.

Heelan has significant experience assisting clients navigate the Canadian immigration landscape. She has delivered immigration solutions to corporate clients ranging from Fortune 100 multinational companies to local start-ups and individual professionals. Her clientele has spanned various industries including the technology, manufacturing, financial, engineering, aerospace, defence and professional services sectors.

Heelan focuses on the International Mobility Program work permit categories including intra-company transfers, reciprocal employment, and those under international treaties, as well as the various labour market impact assessment streams under the Temporary Foreign Worker Program. In addition, she advises on related temporary residence applications for business visitors, students, and accompanying family members, in addition to inadmissibility concerns and government compliance matters.

Heelan brings a balanced and holistic approach to business immigration, understanding there are often intersecting interests and complexities in the global movement of people.
