Description
Birpal Benipal is an associate in the Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy group in Toronto. He has experience handling a range of corporate insolvency and finance-related matters, including proceedings commenced under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act. Birpal also handles a broad spectrum of commercial litigation matters.

Prior to law school, Birpal attended Wilfrid Laurier University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. He also worked at a retail repair start-up and municipal utility as a Financial Analyst. During law school, Birpal co-founded the Punjabi Law Students’ Association.

Birpal joined the Firm as an articling student. Prior to joining Dentons, he summered at another full-service firm with their litigation group.
