Description
Dorota’s practice focuses on estate and trust administration. She assists individuals, families, and businesses with:

Probate applications (Applications for a Certificate of Appointment for a Trustee with a Will/ without a Will).
Advising estate executors, trustees and beneficiaries.
Representing trustees and estate executors with Court passings of accounts.
Estate dispute resolution.
Dorota also helps clients with legacy planning using trust agreements and corporate reorganizations as well as planning for incapacity.

Dorota graduated with a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa where she was awarded the Public Interest Fellowship. She taught law at Algonquin College and she currently volunteers her time with REACH Canada and the Basenji Club of Canada.

Before law, Dorota studied psychology at the University of Toronto and at the University of Guelph with the patronage of various academic scholarships, including the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council award. She was a researcher and educator and published her writing in peer reviewed journals.
