Description
Danene joined Brazeau Seller as a member of its Real Estate Group in January of 2025. Prior to joining Brazeau Seller, Danene spent several years specializing in commercial real estate, corporate lending and land development at a boutique Ottawa law firm, first as a Real Estate Clerk, and then returning to the same firm as a practising Lawyer.

Danene assists clients with a variety of real estate matters, including residential and commercial purchases, sales, and leases, and also represents lenders and borrowers in commercial and residential financing matters. Danene frequently works with Brazeau Seller’s Corporate and Commercial Group, and the Wills and Estates Group, managing the real estate components of larger commercial and estate matters.

Danene also has a broad range of experience in land development, particularly infill development, both as a lawyer and in her personal capacity as a small-scale real estate developer and investor.

Prior to attending law school, Danene attended Carleton University where she obtained a Bachelor of Political Science and Law and a Master of Arts in Law. She then received her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Birmingham.

Outside of the office, Danene loves to spend time with her family and dogs, visiting her hometown of Victoria, running, practicing yoga and travelling as much as she can. As a WSET Level Three Certified Sommelier, she’s always on the lookout for new restaurants to explore.
