Description
Jesse Collins-Swartz is a senior associate in the Corporate and Regulatory Insurance sector practice group in the Toronto office. His practice focuses on corporate, commercial and regulatory matters for clients across the insurance industry, including domestic and international insurers, agencies, brokerages, managing general agencies and adjustment firms.

Jesse regularly advises on corporate transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, commercial agreements, reinsurance agreements, reinsurance security agreements, and assumption reinsurance transaction. He also advises clients on federal and provincial insurance regulatory matters, including the establishment and licensing of domestic and foreign insurers in Canada, insurance intermediary licensing, insurance regulatory approvals, product warranty and service contracts, and the development of innovative insurance products where regulatory frameworks are still emerging.

Prior to attending law school, Jesse obtained his HBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University and then spent close to three years working in various sales and marketing roles at Unilever Canada and The Coca-Cola Company.
