Description
Ian Polisuk practices primarily in the areas of securities, corporate finance, M&A and commercial law. He acts for both private and publicly listed clients on a variety of transactions, including go-public transactions, public offerings, private placements of equity and debt securities, public and private M&A and general securities, corporate and commercial law matters. Ian also assists companies in areas such as compliance with securities regulations, stock exchange policies, and contested shareholder matters, including proxy contests, representing both dissident shareholders and boards of directors.

Ian has experience as a lead instructor in “Securities Regulation” at the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law, 2023 – 2024, and as an instructor in “Corporate Finance” at the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law, 2022 – 2023.

Ian is a member of the Ontario Bar Association.
