It is my greatest privilege to guide clients through the legal system, towards recovery for injury and wrongful death claims. Whether the losses stem from motor vehicle accidents, medical negligence, unsafe premises, or defective products, the damages are personal to every client and their families. From our first meetings, to the resolution of a claim, I bring an empathetic and principled approach to ensure my clients are well prepared for each step along the way.

In the summer of 2021, I moved my practice from the partnership of a large national firm, to Weir Bowen LLP, drawn by the depth and strength of the medical malpractice team. Holding the healthcare system accountable for preventable errors requires a broad roster of specialized experts, combined with bold litigators, and knowledgeable support staff.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, I had a career in broadcast news and communications. I lean heavily on my journalism skill set every day to investigate “who, what, where, when, why” (and how) accidents happen, and to advocate for my clients with confidence and clarity.

I also developed the nationally accredited Legal Media Relations program for the Canadian Bar Association in partnership with Global News, and frequently appear as a guest on the Windspeaker Radio Network program, “Ask The Lawyer.”
