Gurkirat Batth practices in the area of banking and finance law.

Gurkirat routinely acts for domestic and foreign banks, other financial institutions, and borrowers operating in a broad range of industries. He has experience representing clients with both bilateral and syndicated, secured and unsecured, domestic and international financing transactions.

Gurkirat completed his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law. Before law school, Gurkirat worked in various capacities at the federal and provincial levels of government. Gurkirat is a Director and Board Secretary for Niwaas Campus of Care, a not-for-profit long-term care facility and a Director for the Sikh Heritage Month Foundation.

Gurkirat summered at the Firm in 2021 and was seconded to The Kraft Heinz Company.
