Anca Nitu is a Securities Law Clerk with extensive experience in handling securities-related transactions and compliance matters. At Miller Thomson LLP, she developed an excellent knowledge of the Canadian securities laws and she is applying her knowledge to deal with the compliance on the securities side for public and private companies, insiders, shareholders and investment funds. Anca handles the stock exchange and securities commissions filings and approvals for all the capital markets and mergers & acquisitions matters, including prospectus offerings, private placements, take-over bids, shareholder meetings, hostile acquisitions, early warning reporting, insider reporting, and all continuous disclosure matters. Her background includes work as a corporate law clerk in Toronto and as in-house legal counsel in Bucharest, Romania.
