Description
Valerie is a bilingual associate in the insurance defence group advising on MVA, slip & fall and property damage claims. Her work includes a focus on Minor Injury Guideline disputes.

With each new matter, Valérie rolls up her sleeves and dives into the review and analysis of the materials, conducts research to assess and support the defence, and drafts the pleadings to defend the claim and move it towards settlement.

The constant variety of claims drew Valérie to a career in litigation and insurance defence. Her education and work in International Development instilled in her the importance of recognizing that every situation is different. She now applies that principal to her analysis of insurance claims.

Valérie grew up in Gatineau and has since travelled the world, including Senegal where she participated in an internship reviewing policies on gender equality in employment.
