Description
Shakila Salem is an associate in the Labour, Employment and Human Rights group at Fasken’s Toronto office. She maintains a broad labour and employment practice, representing both unionized and non-unionized employers.
Shakila graduated from Western University, Faculty of Law. Prior to attending law school, she obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts specializing in Philosophy from the University of Toronto, where she was on the Dean’s Honour List and graduated with High Distinction.
Shakila summered at the firm in 2021 and was seconded to The Kraft Heinz Company. She articled with the firm in 2022-2023 before joining as an Associate.
In her spare time, Shakila enjoys traveling, running, and yoga.
