Description
Mery is a Team Leader and Senior Law Clerk in the firm’s Corporate Services Department. She is responsible for managing a team of corporate clerks and the development and implementation of corporate business processes, policies and procedures within the Corporate Services Department.

Mery has nearly 30 years of experience as a corporate law clerk and provides support on routine and complex matters for a broad range of clients. She has extensive experience in all aspects of corporate law, including incorporations, amendments, amalgamations, continuances and dissolutions. Mery also has experience with various registrations, such as limited partnerships, business names and extra-provincial filings, share provisions, due diligence, minute book reviews and related remedial work. Her expertise includes corporate law matters governed by various statutes and regulations, including the Business Corporations Act (Ontario), the Canada Business Corporations Act and the Limited Partnerships Act (Ontario).

Mery is highly skilled in assisting lawyers with asset and share purchase transactions, corporate reorganizations and corporate financings for private companies. She also has a great deal of experience with corporate records analysis and regularly deals with sophisticated corporate services work.
