Description
Ira is an associate at Victor Vallance Blais practicing exclusively in the area of family law. He was called to the bar in 2016 and joined Victor Vallance Blais LLP in 2022. Prior to joining the firm, Ira practiced family law at well-respected firms in Toronto and Ottawa. He is a graduate of Dalhousie University (B.A.) and received his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School.

Ira has a wide practice dealing with parenting, support and property issues of all sizes and complexity. Ira has acted as counsel on trials, motions and conferences at every level of Court in Ontario, including the Ontario Court of Appeal. Outside the courtroom, Ira helps clients navigate alternative forms of dispute resolution, such mediation and arbitration. Ira is results-oriented and prides himself on helping clients find creative and practical solutions to their family law problems.

Outside the office, Ira enjoys travelling, spending time with friends and family and playing music. He is also a proud board member of the Tamir Foundation, a local organization assisting people with developmental disabilities realize their potential.
