Description
Georges’ growing practice is focused on assisting clients with a broad range of matters within the banking and financial services sector.

Prior to joining BLG, Georges articled at a business law boutique in Montreal, specializing in civil and commercial matters, where he advocated before Québec’s provincial and superior courts across various districts.

Following his articling, Georges completed a dual clerkship, with the first focusing on trial proceedings at the Federal Court, and the second on appellate matters at the Court Martial Appeal Court of Canada. Georges had the great opportunity to collaborate closely with numerous judges from various courts, including the Federal Court of Appeal, the British Columbia Court of Appeal, the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal, the Federal Court, the Superior Court of Québec, and the Supreme Court of the Northwest Territories.

Georges has been a member of the Ontario Bar since 2024 and of the Québec Bar since 2022. He received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Montreal Faculty of Law in 2024, after obtaining his Licentiate in Law (LL.L.) from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law in 2022. Georges graduated law school with magna cum laude honours.
