Description
Dishant maintains a broad practice encompassing civil and commercial litigation, as well as alternate dispute resolution. Dishant acts for individuals, public and private companies, and financial institutions. He has acted on matters before commercial arbitrators, the Ontario Court of Justice, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (including the Commercial List), and the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Before moving to Canada, Dishant was a litigator at the Court of Appeal and Original Jurisdiction in Chandigarh, India where he represented clients in over 450 matters involving commercial arbitration, enforcement of security interests, quashing of criminal indictments, real property disputes and contract disputes.

Dishant summered at BLG before returning as an associate. During his graduate studies at the University of Toronto, Dishant was awarded the Arthur Scace Graduate Fellowship and volunteered for the Pro Bono Students Canada.

Dishant is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi also.
