Description
Emily maintains a diverse litigation practice, with a focus on commercial and construction disputes. She advocates for clients dealing with surety bonding issues, bond claims, commercial and contract disputes, as well as white-collar criminal defense and corporate investigations. Emily also defends public hospitals and regulated health professionals against allegations of medical malpractice. She has appeared before courts in Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia.

In addition, Emily has specific experience advising national and international military and technology contractors navigating Canada’s defense and security procurement landscape.

After completing her summer and articling terms at BLG’s Calgary office, Emily joined the Toronto office as an associate. She is called to the Bars of both Alberta and Ontario.
