Description
Alex has experience in construction litigation, professional negligence, contractual disputes, and employment matters. In addition to providing advice on effective alternative strategies for dispute resolution, Alex assists clients for court matters. He has represented clients before the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench, the Alberta Court of Appeal, and Federal Court of Canada.

Prior to joining Kingsgate, Alex worked for several years at an international law firm where he gained experience in both litigation and corporate commercial law, and was actively involved in the firm’s diversity and inclusion work.

Alex completed his JD at the University of Alberta where he also earned his B.Sc. in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. During law school, he was involved in a number of endeavours to support equity-seeking groups including OUTLaw and the Faculty of Law Equality and Respect Committee.
