Description
Nicole Park is a seasoned corporate/commercial and M&A lawyer revered for her adept management of private mergers and acquisitions. Her extensive experience spans domestic, cross-border and international transactions, as well as insolvency-based transactions. With a focus on private equity transactions across a broad range of industries, Nicole also lends her experience to corporate reorganizations, corporate governance matters, and provides day-to-day and strategic advice on business partnerships, corporate finance matters and commercial agreements.

In 2017, Nicole enriched her legal and business acumen during a tenure as in-house counsel for Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited – a TSX-listed issuer with a diversified portfolio including a retail segment, a financial services division and CT REIT. Collaborating with all facets of the business, Nicole gained significant experience in the retail industry, and acted on a variety of matters related to securities law, exchange requirements, corporate governance and corporate finance matters.

Nicole has previously contributed her insights as an alternate legal board member of the Ontario Cancer Research Ethics Board, a pivotal oncology research ethics board serving almost every hospital in Ontario that conducts cancer clinical trials.
