Description
Siobhan McConnell is a partner at Branch MacMaster LLP practicing primarily in the areas of class action and insurance law, with experience in the area of health law and professional liability. Siobhan received her Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria. She was called to the British Columbia bar in 2016 and worked at a large national firm until she joined Branch MacMaster LLP in 2021.

Siobhan has experience advocating for clients in a wide variety of areas including breach of contract, wrongful dismissal, occupier liability, personal injury and professional liability. She has represented clients before B.C.’s Provincial and Supreme Court as well as the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal, the Farm Industry Review Board and various professional and regulatory bodies. Her class action experience has involved acting for both plaintiffs and defendants and her recent class action work has included matters involving manufacturer misrepresentation and product liability, privacy breaches and historical sexual abuse
