Description
Rona Ghanbari is the Director of Student Programs in the Toronto office and a Knowledge Management lawyer in the AI & Technology Group.

Professional Activities
Rona is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, Young Women in Law, the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association.

Background
Prior to her current role, Rona was an associate practising in the Corporate Group in the Toronto office where her practice focussed on securities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and general corporate and commercial law.

Rona is an active volunteer with Matthew House Toronto’s Refugee Hearing Program, where she helps refugees prepare for hearings before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada. Prior to joining Stikeman Elliott, Rona was the Editor-in-Chief of Rights Review Magazine, the independent student-led publication of the International Human Rights Program at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Law.
