Description
Phil Wallner is a Partner in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group at WeirFoulds LLP.

Prior to joining WeirFoulds, Phil was an associate at a boutique law firm located in Toronto, where his practice involved complex commercial leasing disputes and construction lien litigation, as well as general commercial litigation, mortgage enforcement, residential tenancy matters and regulatory offences. He also gained extensive experience in dispute resolution matters relevant to large property management companies, property owners, and commercial tenants, including lease disputes, Provincial Offences Act matters, insolvency matters and general commercial disputes.

At the beginning of his legal career, Phil was a student-at-law, and later an associate, at an Ottawa-based law firm that specialized in charity and not-for-profit law, civil litigation, bankruptcy and insolvency law, and construction law. In this role, Phil practised general commercial litigation, including broad experience in construction lien litigation, and appeared before the Superior Court, Small Claims Court, and Local Planning Appeal Tribunal.
