Paul Pidde is a valued partner of Walsh LLP, loving father, husband, and not-so-secret fan of rodeo. While he’s definitely got a significant collection of belt buckles, they really only come out on special occasions.

With over 30 years of legal experience mainly in the area of litigation with a particular emphasis on commercial litigation, insurance defense, creditor’s rights, construction related litigation, and bankruptcy and insolvency. Paul has established himself not only as a respected member of Walsh, but also of the legal community in Calgary as a whole. In addition to his primary area of focus, Paul also has experience in commercial transactions, financings and securitization and provides commercial, business and litigation advice to both public and privately-owned businesses.

But more than the years of experience, accolades, and decisions, Paul’s approach is what anyone who has worked with him is quick to bring up. His down-to-earth demeanour, result-oriented approach, and earnest investment in every single one of his clients creates a connection instantly.

Paul earned his degrees at the University of Alberta and is a prairie boy through and through. Somehow between all the kids’ hockey games and dance recitals, Paul finds the time to enjoy the family farm with his family and cowboy daydreams.
