Morgan Burris practises general commercial litigation and construction law.Morgan has experience in a broad range of commercial practice areas, including construction, environmental, competition, patent and shareholder disputes.She has represented clients in commercial arbitrations and at all levels of provincial and federal courts including the B.C. Supreme Court, the B.C. Court of Appeal, the Yukon Supreme Court, and the Federal Court of Appeal. Morgan has also appeared as counsel before administrative tribunals such as the Federal Competition Tribunal.Prior to pursuing a career in law, Morgan studied mechanical engineering at Queen’s University and worked in manufacturing and mechanical building design.Morgan lived in France for a stretch many years ago and still speaks French fairly fluently, but begs forgiveness for her grammar.
