Matthew engages in a broad and energetic commercial litigation practice, representing a diverse clientele across various industries, before all levels of court in Ontario. Matthew handles cases involving shareholder oppression, breach of contract, fraud, debt-recovery, receiverships, injunctions, class actions, economic torts, defamation, files with an insolvency nexus, and everything in between. Regardless of the context, Matthew’s clients come to appreciate his responsive, cerebral, and collaborative approach to finding practical, business-oriented, and cost-effective solutions to their most pressing issues.

Matthew is a member of several regional law associations and societies, and enjoys volunteering his time on pro bono matters, on peer and student mentorship, and with a local legal clinic.

Matthew is born-and-raised at Miller Thomson, beginning his career as a summer law student in 2017. Ever since, as a commercial litigation lawyer, Matthew has seen success on numerous notable matters, resulting in a number of reported court decisions.
