Description
Maciek combines his excellent litigation skills with a true dedication to the cause of his clients, helping those he represents understand and preserve their rights following serious injury. In addition to his busy law practice, Maciek writes and lectures on personal injury and insurance topics, and organizes an annual soccer tournament to raise money for charitable causes in the London area.
As a partner and civil litigator with Siskinds’ personal injury law group, Maciek aims to provide high quality legal services and focuses on making himself available and accessible to his clients. With a primary focus on personal injury cases and insurance disputes, his practice includes motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, injuries at work, assaults, tavern negligence, and long term disability benefit and pension disputes.
Maciek appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Divisional Court and the Court of Appeal. He has also appeared before numerous administrative tribunals, including the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal, the Pension Appeal Board, and the Social Benefits Tribunal. He was elected to the Board of Directors of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, serving from 2014-2020.
Prior to obtaining his Bachelor of Laws and his Honours Bachelor of Arts from Western University, Maciek was actively involved in practical dispute resolution exercises, advocacy skills training, and competing in appellate moots and mock trials.
Maciek takes great pride in helping individuals and their families navigate the justice system after a life altering injury.
Maciek moved to London, Ontario, in 1989 from Krasnik, Poland, and has since become a lifetime Londoner, developing strong ties to the City of London and Southwestern Ontario.
