Lisa Ford is a partner in the Banking and Finance group at Dentons, leading the expansion of the national banking and payments regulatory team. She is a leading advisor in Canada’s rapidly evolving legal and regulatory landscape governing payments and open banking, including the new Retail Payment Activities Act and Consumer-Driven Banking Framework. Lisa’s experience transcends both legal and business roles in financial services and a broad spectrum of products and services, including business account, cash management, credit, digital, and payments services and systems, as well as emerging payment solutions involving the use of blockchain/distributed ledger technology and digital currencies.
