Description
Jessica’s practice focuses on restructuring and commercial litigation, including commercial bankruptcy and insolvency. She acts for lenders, debtors and restructuring professionals, including trustees, monitors and receivers. Jessica has experience in insolvency proceedings under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA), and court-appointed receiverships, particularly in the energy sector. Her litigation practice involves advising on disputes, debtor/creditor claims, oil and gas and amalgamations under the Canada Business Corporations Act and the Alberta Business Corporations Act. Jesica also has experience in the financial services sector, acting for both lenders and debtors in secured financings, including bilateral and syndicated credit facilities and debt workout matters.
