Description

I focus my practice on advising clients on the application of Canadian Sales Taxes such as the GST/HST. I proactively advise clients with respect to the GST/HST implications of real estate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and daily operations. I also represent clients before tax authorities. I provide audit defense services (for CRA and provincial government audits). I draw on my extensive background including being a former partner in one of Canada’s largest professional services firms, the head of tax for one of Canada’s largest retailers of food, tobacco and fuel products as well as being a former prosecutor to help my clients comply with sales tax legislation and manage tax audits on their behalf.
