Stuart’s focus is on energy, including:

Serving as counsel to domestic, international and institutional oil and gas clients in numerous acquisitions, mergers and financing in the resource sector
Acting for a range of major, intermediate and junior companies in a variety of purchases, swaps, dispositions and joint ventures in a full range and variety of asset and share transactions involving assets throughout Western Canada
Representing and advising energy producer and service industry clients in various aspects of operational, regulatory and business matters.
Stuart also is an instructor for the following:

Lead Instructor in Corporate Governance course for Directors and Executives in the Russian Energy Sector
Course Instructor in Rights of First Refusal– Canadian Association of Professional Landmen, 2003
Instructor for the Canadian Institute of Resources Law in partnership with the Russian Federation and the Canadian International Development Agency
Community involvement
