Irena Ninkovic is an associate practising in the Corporate Group. Her practice focuses on securities, private equity, investment funds, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and corporate governance.

Irena is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.

Background
Irena was previously a member of Serbian Bar Association and practised corporate and commercial law in Serbia. She worked on privatization of the largest financial, insurance and pharmaceutical companies in the Balkans and co-operated with the World Bank and USAID missions advising on the reform and modernization of Serbian corporate legislation. Irena was also an investigator for defense team representing Yugoslav Army officers before the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Former Yugoslavia (UN ICTY) in the Hague.

Irena is fluent in Serbian, Bosnian and Croatian.
