Description
Emily joined Evans, Philp LLP as an associate in 2018, having previously summered and articled with the firm. She is building a broad practice in insurance defence litigation. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2018.

Emily received her Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario in 2017. She also obtained a Masters of Science and a Bachelor of Health Sciences from Western prior to law school. Her research was recently published in the American Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease and Other Dementias.

Emily currently serves on the board of the Ontario Sailing Association. Prior to this, she competed internationally in the sport of sailing. She is also a nationally certified coach and volunteers her time coaching athletes with disabilities.

Emily is a member of the Hamilton Law Association, Canadian Defence Lawyers, and the Hamilton Medical-Legal Society.
