Catrina’s practice involves all aspects of corporate and commercial litigation with a focus on restructuring and insolvency.

Catrina’s practice focuses primarily on restructuring and insolvency. Catrina has been involved in numerous proceedings under the Companies Creditors’ Arrangement Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, including restructurings, receivership proceedings, secured lending enforcement, and commercial foreclosures. Catrina primarily acts on behalf of lenders and court-appointed officers in insolvency proceedings, including receivers, monitors, and trustees. Catrina also advises clients on a variety of commercial litigation matters including shareholder disputes, construction disputes, and debt recovery. Catrina has appeared at all levels of Court in Alberta as well as the British Columbia Supreme Court.

Prior to joining MLT Aikins, Catrina was an associate in the Calgary office of an international law firm. In addition, she worked for a large oil and gas company.
