Before practicing law, Carter trained as a mechanical engineer — a background that provides a unique advantage to our construction clients. His technical expertise allows him to analyze complex blueprints, interpret contracts with precision, and understand the risks inherent to engineering and building projects. This deep understanding enables him to effectively advocate for clients facing claims related to construction defects, professional liability, insurance coverage, and contract disputes.

Carter is a dynamic and persuasive advocate with trial experience before the Supreme Court of British Columbia. Our clients benefit from his strategic approach and clear communication in negotiation, mediation, arbitration, chamber applications, and trials.
