Bill Larose M.Ed. LLB Cert.Con.Res is a lawyer and mediator at Larose Law.After practicing in a general litigation firm, Bill went on to spend several years acting exclusively as claimant counsel in the Independent Assessment Process (IAP), an administrative law process for the resolution of claims of sexual abuse, serious physical abuse, and other wrongful acts suffered at Indian Residential Schools (IRS). When the IAP process began to “wind down” in 2013 Bill opened Larose Law and focused on Alternate Dispute Resolution and has practiced collaborative family law and acted as a mediator in both family law and workplace disputes. He has also been retained as an Independent Investigator in complex workplace conflicts specifically in the context of bullying and harassment allegations. Wills and Estates “round out” the scope of services that Bill provides through Larose Law.Bill was a member of the advisory group to the BC Ministry of the Attorney General for the Family Law Act that received Royal Assent on November 24, 2011 and served as Chair of the Canadian Bar Association ADR Nanaimo Section from 2010 to 2017.
