Description
Alexander joined Branch MacMaster in August 2024 as a litigation associate. His practice is focused on litigation, class actions, and insurance. Before joining Branch MacMaster, Alexander spent 7 years working for the New York office of a leading international law firm. His focus there was on large, complex commercial litigation matters.

During his studies at McGill University’s Faculty of Law, Alexander did legal research and policy work for the UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations, Harvard University’s Berkman Center for Internet and Society, and was a legal clinic student with PINAY Quebec (a Filipino Women’s Organization with a focus on empowering domestic workers and caregivers). Prior to law school, he spent time at the Parliament of Canada as an intern with the non-partisan Parliamentary Internship Programme, and worked as a policy analyst at Canada’s Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT).

Outside of the office, Alexander enjoys spending time with his young family, including playing an ever-increasing number of sports with his children.
