Description
Albert’s practice focuses on intellectual property and regulatory matters, particularly with respect to the food, pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Albert supports multiple clients with their day-to-day legal needs and has significant expertise in advising clients on advertising, marketing and promotion of pharmaceutical products and privacy and regulatory issues affecting pharmaceutical products. His work includes drafting and negotiating agreements for pharmaceutical and regulated products, including consulting agreements, R&D agreements, licensing agreements, commercial agreements, marketing, advertising and promotion agreements.

Albert has also advised clients regarding Food and Drugs Act compliance, packaging and labelling and establishment licensing. He has assisted clients with filing and prosecuting patent applications in a variety of fields, including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and plant genetic engineering. Albert regularly leads presentations for clients in regulated industries on various legal matters affecting their businesses.
