Yuri launched his legal career in northern Alberta, where he worked since being called to the Alberta bar in 2014. Yuri relocated to the Lower Mainland and was called to the British Columbia bar in October, 2025.

Yuri started out as a general practitioner but has concentrated on contested family disputes in the past several years. He has a broad scope of litigation experience, ranging from employment disputes, contract and insurance disputes, real-estate foreclosures, as well as estate and dependent-adult litigation. In the past, Yuri has also handled solicitor files, such as estate-planning, conveyancing, and estate administration.

Yuri grew up in the Lower Mainland and attained his Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University; he then attained his Law Degree at the University of Alberta in 2013. Yuri has appeared at all levels of court in Alberta as well as several other tribunals. He also has extensive pro bono volunteer experience in Alberta and hopes to continue this trend in British Columbia. Outside of work, Yuri enjoys hiking, fitness, live poker, and mountain-biking.
