Description
Tim is an experienced litigator with extensive involvement in municipal-related disputes. He has acted for several municipalities in a variety of matters, including contractual disputes, litigation relating to procurement, challenges to by-laws for illegality and bad faith, expropriation proceedings, and payments in lieu of taxes. He is a thoughtful and nuanced advocate, always mindful of the public nature of his clients and their issues. Tim understands that his clients’ matters are often urgent and, accordingly, ensures he is sensitive to his clients’ needs.

He is a member of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Tim’s wide-ranging civil litigation practice includes general commercial litigation, corporate proceedings and shareholder disputes, municipal-related litigation, all manner of real estate disputes, franchise litigation, construction litigation, insurance litigation and professional liability cases.
