Areas of Practice

Description
Svetlana’s practice is focused in the areas of corporate and commercial law, and can be divided into three areas: (i) real estate and development, including acting on purchases and sales, leasing and financings; (ii) a general corporate and commercial practice which involves acting for a wide variety of businesses from small to large on acquisitions, dispositions, mergers and reorganizations, as well as advising on the organization and structure of corporations and other business entities; and (iii) intellectual property law, including advising a wide variety of businesses on privacy issues, licensing matters, trademark and patent applications and general intellectual property transactions.

Svetlana is fluent in Russian and Hebrew.

Svetlana was a summer student at Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP in 2015 and 2016 and returned as an articling student in 2017. Svetlana joined the firm as an associate in 2018.
