Stefan assists clients in complex commercial litigation across various areas and industries.

A particular focus of Stefan’s practice is tort law and product liability litigation. Stefan represents clients in individual actions, “mass tort” claims and class actions involving all manner of allegations. Stefan has broad cross-jurisdictional experience, defending claims in multiple provinces across Canada. Stefan also acts for clients in commercial contract disputes across different industries. In addition to litigating breach of contract claims, Stefan advises clients on questions of contractual interpretation and enforcement.

The remainder of Stefan’s practice allows him to adapt to client needs. Stefan has experience in intellectual property matters, he has acted in judicial review and administrative matters, and he has experience in complex commercial arbitration and other commercial disputes. Stefan has appeared as counsel before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the Federal Court and the Federal Court of Appeal.
