Shazia Banduk is Co-Director, Legal Talent at Goodmans.

Working with Co-Directors Ali Richardson and Michel Lederman, Ali, Michel and Shazia lead the firm’s legal talent and management efforts, responsible for all aspects of our student, associate and law clerk programs including managing recruitment, mentorship, professional development and advancement, and performance management.

Shazia is actively involved in a variety of the firm’s other important initiatives, including those related to diversity, equity and inclusion, engagement, retention and training.

Shazia summered and articled at Goodmans before practicing corporate law for several years as an associate, and then practiced as an in-house lawyer at a prominent global accounting firm for several years. She received her honours B.A. from Ivey Business School at Western University, her J.D. from Western University and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2011.
