Description
Sebastian Ennis is developing a broad general litigation practice with a focus on public law issues arising from civil, administrative, and criminal disputes.

Before joining Arvay Finlay as an Associate, he served as a judicial law clerk at both the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. He obtained his J.D. from the University of British Columbia in 2017 and his B.A. (Hons.) from the University of King’s College in 2013.

Sebastian volunteers as a Director of a non-profit that promotes international human rights and the rule of law. He is familiar with United Nations human rights mechanisms and on multiple occasions has provided support for the United Nations Human Rights Committee. He also serves as a Member-at-Large (2019-2020) on the Executive of the International Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association.

He is called to the bar in British Columbia and Ontario.
