Description
Sean Vanderpol is a corporate partner in the Toronto office and a member of the firm’s Partnership Board. He is a member of the Management Committee, and the former Co-Head of the Capital Markets and Public Mergers & Acquisitions Groups in the Toronto office. He is also a member of the firm’s Professional & Ethics Committee. His practice is focused on public companies, mergers and acquisitions and joint venture transactions, as well as public corporate finance transactions and public governance and compliance issues.

Professional Activities
Sean is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and a previous member of the Securities Advisory Committee of the Ontario Securities Commission. He has participated in teaching Corporate Finance and Advanced Corporate Law at the University of Western Ontario as a member of the adjunct faculty. He has spoken and written on such topics as corporate law, corporate governance, continuous disclosure and M&A issues. Sean is also a Fellow of the American College of Governance Counsel.
