Sakina is an associate in the Cross-Border, Business and Estates Litigation groups at Cambridge LLP.

Sakina is called to the Ontario Bar and to the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa, India. She received her LL.M. with specialization in Business Law from UC Berkeley School of Law, USA. She also holds an LL.B. and B.A. from University of Mumbai, India. She is fluent in Hindi, Urdu and Gujarati.

Prior to being called to the Bar in India, Sakina worked as a business journalist for four years with India’s largest financial daily The Economic Times, extensively covering law and finance. She has written over 150 articles with a special focus on analysis of the legal and financial system in India.
