Description
Paul Pathak is a partner of CP LLP.

Paul practices principally in the areas of corporate, securities, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and commercial law. He represents and provides sophisticated guidance to our private and public corporate clients in a broad range of industries, including mining, technology, manufacturing, venture capital and merchant banking.

Paul has developed particular expertise in advising issuers and investors in connection with public and private financings and securities law compliance. He has acted for issuers in a broad range of securities transactions, including initial public offerings, reverse take-overs, establishment of Capital Pool Companies, going-private transactions and numerous financing structures.

As a result of his extensive experience in the aforementioned areas, Paul has developed strong relationships within the investment community as well as an excellent familiarity with the securities regulatory landscape. He regularly leverages these relationships and his knowledge base to maximize benefits and results for his clients.

Paul was called to the Ontario Bar in 1994, having completed his LL.B. at Osgoode Hall Law School. He has sat on the boards of several private and public companies listed on both the Canadian and American stock exchanges. He is a member of the Local Advisory Committee in Ontario of the TSX Venture Exchange. He has also completed The Certificate in Mining Law at the Osgoode Hall Law School (2012)
