Description
Riley is a corporate/commercial lawyer with the firm’s Calgary office.

Riley’s practice focuses on securities and corporate finance, corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions.

His corporate practice includes representing private and public companies in a range of industries and sectors. His experience includes working with issuers and underwriters with a broad range of matters and transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, continuous disclosure obligations, debt and equity securities offerings, corporate reorganizations and general corporate and commercial matters.

Riley’s experience in financial services includes banking and commercial lending transactions, including debt financing, acquisition finance, project finance and related transactional work. He has experience representing both borrowers and lending institutions in connection with secured and unsecured financing transactions, including both bilateral and syndicated loan transactions.

While completing his law degree, Riley competed in the Jessup International Moot Competition and the Corporate Securities Moot. He also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada.
