Peter Dotsikas is a powerful presence in the courtroom with his razor-sharp intellect, charisma, keen insight, and vast knowledge of the criminal justice system. Peter does not miss a detail – you cannot make a mistake in front of him and get away with it. Highly respected by judges and his colleagues in the criminal justice system, Peter is a solid lawyer, and a personable and approachable advocate for his clients.

Peter was called to the bar in 1991 and began his career as a Crown Attorney with the Ministry of the Attorney General. He prosecuted serious criminal offences such as murder, robbery, commercial frauds, and sexual assaults at the Superior Court of Justice, and the Ontario Court of Justice.

In 1999, Peter left the Crown’s office to open his own law practice. He has defended people from all walks of life facing serious criminal charges to minor offences.

Peter is a leading authority in driving offences including Impaired Operation, Over 80, Dangerous Driving, Driving Offences Causing Bodily Harm or Death, and Fail to Provide Sample to name a few. Whatever the charge, Peter brings more than 30 years of courtroom expertise to every case.
