Description
Paul Frank is an experienced trial and advocacy lawyer who has been practicing law since 2003. Paul’s practice focuses on Fire Code and Building Code matters, all types of government regulation, regulatory defence, administrative law, bankruptcy and insolvency, and general litigation.

Recently, after 14 years of legal practice with The City of Calgary, Paul returned to private practice to become the Senior Partner at Harper Lee Law. Paul was a regulatory prosecutor and the senior bankruptcy and insolvency lawyer for The City of Calgary. He advised on governance issues, public interest matters, investigations and audits as well as hired and mentored junior lawyers and articling students.

Paul has conducted appeals, trials and hearings at all divisions of the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Court of Queen’s Bench, the Alberta Court of Appeal, the Assessment Review Board, the Municipal Government Board, the Alberta Land Compensation Board, and the Law Enforcement Review Board for a Public Inquiry.

In addition to practicing law, Paul is involved with politics at all levels of government and volunteers with the Calgary Food Bank and the Salvation Army.

Paul believes that justice can be achieved.

Paul was appointed to the Law Society of Alberta’s Finance and Audit Committee in 2022.
