Omar Ha-Redeye is a Toronto and Durham Region lawyer and legal educator, and the Executive Director of the Durham Community Legal Clinic. He is a graduate (Juris Doctor) of the law program at the University of Western Ontario, and holds an LLM in Health Law from Osgoode Hall with coursework in Advanced Trial Advocacy.  He currently teaches law at several universities and colleges in the GTA.In 2011 he was named one of the top 12 social media influencers practicing law in Canada. He was presented the Diamond Jubilee Medal by the Governor General in 2013 for his contributions to society and professional achievements. In 2015, he received the OBA’s inaugural Foundation Award for public legal education and improving the legal system. Omar is actively involved in the OBA and CBA.
